Dental Hygienist

On Tuesday, November 29, 2011 my New Model Me Class went on a field trip on the Greenville Tech campus into dental hygiene building. Dental hygiene is a very important job because without it we would be very unhealthy. Dental hygienist our in charge of cleaning teeth, flossing, checking for cavities, and making sure their patients leave out with clean teeth. The tour guide was a woman named Ms. Nelson. She was a professor in the dental program. She explained that it will take two years to becomea dental hygienist, you must be somewhat good at math, biology, and chemistry because that is what it consist of. Most dental hygienists are neat, caring, and loyal to their patients. In conclusion, being a dental hygienst is something I don't want anymore because I need more excitement to my job and just working in an office will not be too exciting.
