Empowering our Youth

Dr. Kristal Owens-Gayle developed programs to help individuals to recognize and maximize their social capital, strengthen total well-being, improve interpersonal relationships and alliance with others.

The Empowerment Center uses culturally competent and spiritually based human service practices to train and empower families and individuals to realize and utilize their inner power to achieve healing and oneness.

We offer workshops on self-esteem, stress management, conflict resolution, anger management, parent education and provides services such as support groups, counseling and life coaching, substance abuse treatment and prevention, HIV prevention education, offender-related services, rites of passage programming, and event and conference planning.
