Does the Law of Attraction need the Mystical element?  Do you need to believe in God or a Higher Power to use the Law of Attraction?  Can it be more along the line of "Self-fulfilling Prophesy?"

It is said that Lynne Grabhorn, author of "Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting," approached Jerry and Esther Hicks about sharing the Teachings of Abraham, but modifying it by taking the Spirit essence out of it.  She nearly succeeds by focusing on the basics of the teachings- to find a better feeling thought.  She goes as far out of her way as possible to ix-nay the irit-spay.

Did she go too far?  It might appear so when you read further down the line of the "Excuse Me" series when Doreen Banaszak reintroduces the "Creative Companion" in "Excuse Me, Your Life Is Now!"  Does that mean that a spiritual element is necessary in order to effectively use the Law of Attraction?

What if you don't believe in things like a Co-Creative Universe or Spiritual Beings- within or around you?  Is it enough to build your self-esteem and, thereby, a more attractive personality?  Is it enough to simply guide your thoughts and feelings to develop a radiantly positive outlook that makes life more manageable- if not more meaningful?
