1968 – The Year In Politics

In our 1968 we break down the year on many different levels, tonight it’s politics.  Much like 2020, 1968 was a Leap Year and a year that would elect a new president.  The Democratic nominee was very popular and appealed to the KIDS…sound like anybody we know.  But that dude LOST.  We will discuss that, the assassinations of both Dr. King and Robert Kennedy and the violence that broke out at the Democratic National Convention.  Finally, we will discuss the Civil Rights Act on 1968 and the Poor People Campaign. 1968 was so crazy yet SO MUCH like RIGHT NOW!!!
