Today Angelica welcomes writer William Brower, Jr to the show. William Brower is a local writer who is committed to his talent. Although he started his career backwards, the readers who have followed him continue to motivate him further along. Through his research, William wrote a 45 minute play about the Titanic, an area of his interest for many years. From 1994-2002 Brower traveled the state performing his lecture to various organizations and performing art centers. In 2002 while writing under an alias Brower penned his high school memoirs “Confession and True Accounts of the Crazy Clan” which resulted in moderate success. With a book published, William established himself as a writer and for three years did freelance articles for local city papers. When Hurricane Wilma hit Broward County, Brower was one of the many effected by the disaster. Most of his work contacts were lost in the storm. 2006 Brower started over and began working in a retail distribution center in the mornings while doing his writing at night. His second book “Chronicles of the Dragons Bane” was published in September 2008 after 18 years of writing. On New Years Day 2009, William and his wife were hit by a drunk driver. After being placed into a cast, Brower used his recovery time to publish “The Essays and Wit of W.E.Brower Jr.” a collection of articles that were given recognition by local editors and readers. Sadly the day William fully recovered was the same day his day job went out of business making news in the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald. Not one to be idle, William used his time wisely and recently wrote his fourth book “The Artwork and Origins of the Dragons Bane Series” which is a motivational back-story about how his friends and teachers motivated him to write the series and continue to give him the drive almost twenty years later.
