Today I will commence the reading of a very sweet, short book, written by Zeera (Zee) Charnoe, back in 1973, titled: p- pl - please touch. This is the only hard copy in existence.
What's unique about this book are two things:
1) Zee has a painting of an apple (or a painting of the Earth,, or maybe both) on the cover, and if you touch the apple's stem (or its source of connection), it changes colour as it changes temperature, similar to 'mood rings' from by-gone eras.
2) The book is split into half pages, meaning that the top half of each page is a complete story or compilation of short stories, cartoons and poetry, as is the bottom half, but I believe you can also mix and match the pages from each to tell a whole other story. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this, but perhaps you can. This book has been scanned, in its entirety and is available online for free at our website / google docs site. It is available as a stand-alone book, it is also included in the Appendices at the end of the book titled: The Soul of a Poet Philosopher, also by Zee Charnoe. Here is the link:
