Talk DCX Sports – Let’s Talk Sports – NFL vs Ezekiel Elliot  

Will Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott be cleared to play Week 1 against the New York Giants? After a three-day arbitration hearing, it is still not entirely known.

What is known is that Elliot and the NFL Players Association have filed a lawsuit against the NFL, even before the arbitrator presiding over Elliott's appeal ever provided his opinion on the case. The "bombshell" evidence for Elliott and the NFLPA may be the testimony from NFL Director of Investigations Kia Roberts who recommended that Elliott not be suspended. That said, the NFL has bargained for a lot of room to make decisions on these types of suspensions and a court of law may not want to get in the way of a system that was collectively bargained by the players and NFL teams.
