The Final Instructions * John 21:1-25

Jesus made His last appearance to the disciples before He put them to task.  It is the Father’s perfect will we be saved.  But it is our work to believe in Jesus is the Son of God. If we believe we will be raised up in the last day.  The harvest is coming.  We are getting a harvest like never known since the resurrection of Jesus.  It will be like Peter dragging the nets into the boat and like dragging the net onto the shore.  Each time Jesus instructed to cast the nets, the harvest was so great that it was almost impossible to collect the harvest in the boat or drag the net to shore.  It will be formed in companies of 150.  Just as Jesus organized the feeding the multitude in groups of 50 men, this was only the number of men and not the wives and unmarried.  The harvest in the this story was 153 large fish.  It is the Shepherd to shepherd in a company so it is manageable. We are to follow the type an shadow of the government that Jesus gave us for the purpose of kingdom government.
