Shut It Down "Religious Behaviors"

Jesus came to heal the broken hearted, set the captives free, and liberate the oppressed.  Many, to include myself, take this as a form of deliverance from sin, habits, pain from physical and emotional wounds.  This is true.  However, Jesus shut down the religion the Jew had.  The establishment of the Jewish faith had corrupted, compromised, and perverse what God had established with His people.  

Jesus came and shut it down.  Many times the establishment tried to trick and snare Jesus in his teachings and behaviors.  Because Jesus the Messiah was sent from God, He spoke God's words to confound the wise, He was kind and showed compassion, and He went where God went, He did what God did, and He spoke what God spoke.  Essentially, He was in the perfect will of God in His high heavily calling.

Jesus shut it down on the cross when the veil was ripped from top to bottom as a message to all that he is the way, the truth and the life to Father.  He shut it down.  Let's shut down religious Christian behaviors and let's live in the fulfillment of Christ Jesus.
