A Rosary for Alisha Bromfield & Family

Alisha Bromfield & her unborn daughter,  Ava Lucille  were murdered on August 19th of 2012.  Alisha was just short of her 22nd birthday and little Ava was 2 and a half months short of what would have been, the day of her birth.  Because of the brutality of their murder, and the bizarre legal questions that have surrounded this case, there has perhaps been too much discussion of how Alisha died, and not enough about how she lived.  Her parents have done heroic work in seeking changes in the law so that in the future, other families may obtain justice more easily.

Today, I want to hear more from mom and stepdad about how Alisha lived and how they have managed to survive their loss.  We’ll also be praying a live on the air Rosary, with them .  We will ask Mother Mary, who saw her son murdered, to comfort the hearts of  Sherry and Joe Ancich, Alisha's mother and Ava’s grandmother.  We will  pray that Christ will send blessings, through the hands of His mother, down on this family and that they will land gently as purple blossoms, taking away the pain and filling them with the faith that they will all be together in heaven.
