Toyota Reliabilty - Are you kidding me?
Toyota, the Japanese car maker which has long been viewed as the leader in automotive quality, said it told it's dealers to stop selling eight models., including the Camry and Corolla sedans - two of the biggest sellers in the U.S. market. Other models affected by the move include the RAV4 and the Highlander Sport Utility Vehicles as well as the Tundra pickup truck. The eight models represent 57% of Toyota's 2009 U.S. sales. Toyota also said it will stop producing the affected models at several North American plats for one week starting Feb 1st. What's going on here? Toyota Reliability? This episode will discuss the latest turmoil with Toyota and it's never-ending recalls. We'll also introduce what GM is doing to help Toyota owners get rid of their allegedly unsafe vehicles. You won't want to miss this special daytime edition of American Chevy 360. The guest call-in number is 646.716.4965...Join the discussion if you dare....
