This week Femslash4Fans airs on a special night to return to the world of webseries. Last year you heard my interview with Nancylee Myatt, creator of the lesbian police drama and greatest-cult-classic-to-never-air “Nikki & Nora”. Later you tuned in to listen to my chat with Christin Mell, who along with Nicole Valentine created the website Tellofilms.com. This time I’ll be speaking with both Myatt and Mell, now that they’ve joined forces to produce “Cowgirl Up”, an all-girl Western webseries which starts filming this month. Joining in will be actress Mandy Musgrave, best known for playing Ashley on "South of Nowhere" and now appearing on "Cowgirl Up" as Dakota. We’ll talk about the ongoing challenge in trying to create, finance, and market an independent webseries, and why in some ways it’s still preferable to network television. I’ll be joined this evening by co-host Inspector Boxer, who was a guest during my shows on “Women’s Murder Club” and “Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles”.
