Hailing from the BROWNSVILLE section of BKLYN, NY, BlackMan Allah aka Kenyattah Black received knowledge of self from the Tree of Divine Allah [Kirkman], who was made a young Minister by the Father Allah and one of the first to teach in Brownsville in 1965.

BlackMan Allah served as a strong teacher in Islam and an advocate of true Hip-Hop culture. He transitioned from graffiti to recording HIP HOP music and became co-founder (along with Vast Aire/Cannibal Ox) of the music collective "THE CRIMSON GODZ" and established the cultural collective "THE U*BE NATION OF SUNS & EARTHS".

This Supreme New York culture helped KENYATTAH to express himself verbally…along with Islamic and Asiatic influence, to become one of the strongest MC's out of Brownsville, as demonstrated in his latest recording "Ruler Steps" which was shot on location in front of the Allah Schools in Mecca and Medina.
