Blessings don’t always seem that way when they arrive and that was the mind set of NFL Draft Bible Player Spotlight Show guest Vincent Chase of SMU. The 6’4” and 252 pound tight end from Irving, Texas was cruising along before new Coach June Jones stepped in and Chase knew the potential of his tight end spot quickly would diminish in Jones new offensive scheme. Transferring crossed his mind but in the end he played and started on SMU’s offensive line. Pretty impressive stuff isn’t it? During his Pro Day last year he got the flu spent some time in the hospital getting fluids back in his system and wasn’t able to catch the eye of any NFL teams. Now one year away from the game he is as focused as ever and now has the ability not only to play tight end and catch the ball but also very little tight ends if any and compare to the way he can block. Under the radar but shouldn’t be under rated is today’s guest Vincent Chase.
