Patrick Benoist, Player Spotlight Show

Vanderbilt Commodores Patrick Benoist (pron. Ben-wah) co-captain of the 2009 defensive unit at linebacker joins host Bo Marchionte for a Player Spotlight Show. Benoist is a combination of speed and intelligence on the field and his accomplishments include ranking in the top ten in total tackles in the ultra competitive SEC while also being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll three straight years. Consistent game in and game out Benoist recorded at least five tackles in every game his senior year while posting double digits in tackles four times. Speed is one of his greatest strengths Benoist will draw attention from the NFL brass looking to counter the speed of today’s stars like Tennessee Titans Chris Johnson or the Philadelphia Eagles DeSean Jackson.
