Noted journalist ALAN GELL interviews CHRIS WINCEK, Dodge Journey Brand Manager. Gell was attending the annual Spring Roundup conducted by TAWA (Texas Auto Writers Association) at the Texas Motor Speedway.
The Dodge Journey Crossroad was entered in two competitive categories at the event -- BEST VALUE and ACTIVITY VEHICLE. There were over 50 vehicles in competition, going on the track and off-track, taking short and long 'loops' around the facility grounds. The Dodge Journey won as Runner-Up in the Activity Vehicle category, which was announced at the Awards Dinner on April 28th.
The 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad AWD at the event was a Redline 2-Coat Pearl Exterior paint with a black interior. It sported leather seats with Sport Mesh inserts. The Crossroad was powered by a 3.6-liter V6, 24 valve engine matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The interview was conducted on-site at the Texas Motor Speedway during the day's driving activities conducted by the Texas Auto Writers.
