The Bible declares that Christ fills all in all (Eph. 1: 23). I believe that means his glory is so pervasive that it's inescapable. For example, when the central character of a movie is almost killed by a villain, but overcomes death at the final hour, it is a reminder of Christ’s resurrection. And when a wholesome love song speaks of the pure love between a husband and wife, we are reminded of Christ’s love for the church.
There are even certain facets of Jesus’ life that serve as symbols for what all believers must endure in one way or another. For instance, I believe the specific temptations that Jesus faced in the wilderness are symbolic of those which every believer must resist in his or her walk of faith. Insomuch as Jesus had to overcome three specific temptations before stepping into his God-given destiny, we must likewise overcome a version of those same temptations before stepping into ours.
