An alarming and disproportionate number of Black and Latino males are being arrested in America's urban schools, introducing them at early ages to the criminal justice system. This phenomenon, which has been widely documented by various studies and organizations, is called The School to Prison Pipeline. In this pre-recorded show Brother Agyei interviews guest Angela Jones, the school to prison pipeline coordinator of the New York Civil Liberties Union. Ms. Jones will explain this racist the pipeline, why it is unfair, how our boys are negatively affected, and what we can do to stop this process. As this show is pre-recorded, you will not be able to call in.
