An alarming number of school students are being arrested in America's inner cities. Of these, Black and Latino students are disproportionately targeted. This phenomenon, which has been widely documented by various studies and organizations, is called The School to Prison Pipeline. This episode of Real Talk will feature guest Angela Jones, the school to prison pipeline coordinator of the New York Civil Liberties Union. Ms. Jones will help us understand the what the pipeline, is why it is unfair, and what we can do to stop this process.
