Truth Talk With "People's Scholar" Dr. Boyce Watkins

Our guest today is Dr. Boyce Watkins, affectionately called 'The People's Scholar," because of his commitment to Black empowerment and his grassroots approach to scholarship. Dr. Watkins is a Professor of finance at Syracuse University and author of several books including "What If George Bush Were a Black Man?" He makes frequent appearances on CSpan, BET, ESPN, and a number of talk shows including the Wendy Williams Show, where he is known for representing the Black community with intelligence and strength. Today we will go thirty minutes with the People's Scholar as, we talk about everything from Hip Hop, Sports, the current financial crisis and Barack Obama.
