Mariah was born in Brazil and was adopted by her parents almost 21 year ago. She grew up in a loving home where the story of her adoption was shared openly. Over the years the possibility of visiting Brazil to meet birth family was occassionally brought up by Mariah's mother, but Mariah showed no interest. Then the day finally came - Mariah announced that she was ready to meet her birth family.
