Joining us this Sunday will be authors Sylvia Shults & John Kachuba !!

Sylvia Shults has been a paranormal investigator for several years. She began her career as a ghost hunter as a result of doing the research for her nonfiction book Ghosts of the Illinois River (Quixote Press, 2010). A few years ago, Shults was inspired to write a collection of people’s supernatural experiences at the Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville, Illinois. This project quickly swelled into Fractured Spirits: Hauntings at the Peoria State Hospital. The book incorporates the history of the asylum as well as the many ghost stories that have arisen out of the asylum’s abandonment. In an effort to separate fact from fiction, Shults thoroughly explores the true history of the hospital. The book, and Shults’ research, was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters (“Prescription for Fear”, which aired January 30, 2013).

John Kachuba is the award-winning author of twelve books and numerous articles, short stories and poems. One book in particular is " Ghost Hunting Illinois " which contains numerous haunting tales about Central Illinois and even a couple about Peoria. John frequently speaks on paranormal and metaphysical topics and is a regular speaker at conferences, universities and libraries and on podcasts, radio and TV. He has been a repeat guest on radio’s “Coast-to-Coast AM with George Noory” and appeared in the Sundance Channel’s TV production, “Love/Lust – The Paranormal.”

At 9:30pm it's " The Marty Monologues: Kinda Like The Vagina Monologues But With A Real Dick. " featuring Marty Wombacher of MeanWhileBackInPeoria.com. Each week Marty joins us and lays upon us the linguistic stylings and knowledge that can only come from years of great experience !!
