There is an effort by some to force a U.S. Constitutional Conventiion which, I believe, is a terrible idea. The Constitution provides for an amendment process to modify the Constitution. A full convention opens up the Constitution to all kinds of tinkering. This week, Mrs. Barbara Blewster will be my guest, giving us a history and background on Constitutional Conventions - there's only been one! She will explain why such a move is fraught if problems in a manner that will be clear to all.
