And the book is FUNNY! That’s right, as a motivational speaker to Fortune 500 Companies (such as Intel, SONY, Yahoo! and Texaco-Chevron), an international speaker (3 times a guest on the Today Show) and a former stand-up comic in clubs such as Stand-up NY and Caroline’s she knows how to deliver a punch(line).

Our second guest is Karen Duncan. Karen A Duncan is an author and national speaker known professionally for her work in the field of child sexual abuse and family violence.

For twenty-eight years she has developed prevention education programs and provided therapeutic programs to women, children and families.

Karen is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Mental Health Counseling and serves on Advisory Boards for the Indiana Women's Prison and Indiana Coalition against Sexual Assault. She serves on the Indiana Statewide Planning Committee in the Primary Prevention of Sexual Violence

Ms. Duncan takes a social marketing approach in the prevention of child sexual abuse developing ecological strategies that impact social norms and community cultures.

At the university level Ms. Duncan has taught Women Studies, Human Sexuality, Abnormal Psychology and General Psychology courses.
