Since receiving his PhD from the University of California in 1972, Dr. author of the new book, Race & Economics, Dr. Walter E. Williams has established himself as one of the country's most influential libertarian economists. He has been the author of several books, including The State Against Blacks All It Takes Is Guts, South Africa's War On Capitalism, and his memoir, Up From the Projects. His work has also appeared in academic journals such as the Economic Inquiry, American Economic Review and Social Science Quarterly; and mainstream publications such as Reader's Digest, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. He has been a guest on such programs as Milton Friedman's "Free to Choose," William F. Buckley's "Firing Line," "Face The Nation," "Nightline" and "Crossfire." And since 1992 he has been a frequent guest host for the Rush Limbaugh show. This is Dr. Williams' second appearance on our show.
