WHY IS COUNSELING, ESPECIALLY GRIEF SUCH A TABOO IN THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN AND MINORITY COMMUNITY?

Have you stopped to ponder as to why African-Americans and other minorities do not embrace or reach out for professional counseling after dramatic experiences?  Is it because we rely more on our faith in God to heal our hearts, and channel our emotions into places that are happier?  Or, it is because we simply lack the directions of where to turn other than our faith? Join me and Dr. Michelle Joy Brown, PhD, MSW, LPC as we examine and discuss the issue of an almost non-existent culture of professional counseling in the black community.

Listen to A Different Vue with Jacquelyn Rochell to hear President Barack Obama's weekly address!  We'll listen to some feel good music and share inspiring conversations!

23 DAYS LEFT until world release of The Purpose of Purpose.  Yes, it's Jacquelyn Rochell's 3 publication! Purchase your book on Monday, September, 15, 2014.
