     Renee Spearman is a Grammy & Stellar Award nominee Renee Spearman is one of gospel’s top singer/songwriters. Renee has worked with some of gospel’s biggest stars including Hezekiah Walker, Yolanda Adams, Dr. Bobby Jones, and Byron Cage, just to mention a few, as well as soul legends Gladys Knight, D.J. Rogers, and Paul Jackson Jr. of the Tonight Show.

Riding high on the success of her delightful new hit single “I GOT GOD”, the follow-up single to her Top 5 smash "I Love Him" featuring 10-time Grammy nominee & multiple winner Hezekiah Walker, Stellar & Grammy nominee Renee Spearman was recently named one of BMI's 2021 Trailblazers of Gospel.

Born in Los Angeles, CA to a preacher and an evangelist mother, Renee’s career as a recording artist began over 20 years ago when she formed the highly regarded community choir Renee Spearman and Prosperity, which featured then-upcoming gospel notables Eric & Tina Atkins (“Mary Mary”), Jason McGee, etc. In addition to Prosperity, Renee was also the principal songwriter for the Stellar-nominated duo Renee Spearman and Prez (featuring Prez Blackmon).

The highly anticipated follow-up to “whoa to WOW!”, Renee's last CD which debuted #4 on Billboard & featured the choir classic “Great God”, “The Essential Renee Spearman” features an all-star cast including not only the incomparable Hezekiah Walker but also gospel trailblazer Dorinda Clark-Cole, etc. Produced by Quadrius Salters (Ricky Dillard, Kurt Carr) and Professor James Roberson (Dorinda Clark-Cole, Dr. Bobby Jones), Renee’s career has soared on highly regarded indie powerhouse label JDI Records (Brent Jones, Beverly Crawford, Norman Hutchins, etc.) with 4 Billboard-topping releases in a row.
