SATURDAY VIBES - Special Guest - David Frood

The Thinking Corporation corporate innovation program was developed by David Frood. David worked for sixteen years as a consultant to medium and large businesses, initially with an international sales consulting firm, then freelance. Client organizations include Hewlett Packard, Qantas, Diageo, Reckitt Benckiser, Cerebos Foods, CommSec and Daikin Air-conditioning. He became a specialist in implementing new sales/marketing process, change management and people development from sales people to senior managers.

This experience formed the basis for The Thinking Corporation book after observing many highly skilled and knowledgeable people who were frustrated by the boundaries and structure of their employer organizations. Employees would rarely tell their employers about ideas for new products, services or markets or simply to improve existing processes. It became clear that there is a much better way to manage both people and organizations through designing a company that is capable of harnessing the talent from within the ranks.

Following the book being published in 2008, the contents were then molded into a corporate change program that provides the framework for organizations to thrive through engaging the talents of the entire workforce. It is important that all of us make a start to securing the future of our corporations and provide security and prosperity for employees.
