What is Mental illness and what is the cure? GOD? A pill bottle? Both? What is the prescription for good mental health? 

A record number of people are taking medicines for mental illnesses that didn’t exist a few decades ago. If you attend a friendly gathering, guests often compare which anti-depressant or anti-anxiety drug they are currently using. It is a minority of people who aren’t reaching daily for pills to manage their mental anguish. Children are being placed on psychological medicines too. It is heartbreaking to learn how suicide is now the second leading cause of death among young adults in the USA. Why?

In this broadcast of Running on Love with God, we will answer questions and analyze if we have become a society completely out of control. Families are desperate for answers. Many years ago, children who went to school and exhibited disciplinary problems, received discipline. Now, many schools are ordering parents to seek medical attention for their unruly children. Some schools have even required that children be placed on psychological medications or be expelled. How did this happen?  If you suddenly hear “voices” are you incurably mentally ill? Is there another possible explanation? We will examine these questions and more.

We need to learn the truth. The truth may not always be pleasant to face, but it is necessary for our collective healing. Please join the conversation and listen, learn, and work for peace. If we heal ourselves, we can heal our world.
