Why is evil speaking even more dangerous to the evil Speaker? Have you ever been harmed by evil speaking? Have you ever engaged in this behavior?

Thousands of years ago Miriam was struck with leprosy for speaking evil about her brother Moses. Why was the punishment for evil speaking so severe? Gratefully after Moses pleaded with Hashem God to forgive her, she was healed. This lesson in the Torah is so significant that it is one of the 6 remembrances that are recited daily. Why for thousands of years must we recall what Hashem GOD did to Miriam for engaging in evil speaking against her brother Moses? There are many sins that we are all aware of and understand the gravity of breaking many other laws. The sin of evil speaking has become so commonplace in our everyday life that it seems to be a matter of course and accepted in social circles. In school children, the behavior of speaking evil about others is used commonly to win favor and gain the approval of the crowd. Sadly, this repugnant behavior follows us all into adulthood. Listen to this program of Running on Love with GOD and learn why evil speaking is such an important lesson that we are asked to remember it daily. Learn how engaging in evil speaking has many casualties. It is not only damaging to the recipient, but it's most dangerous to the evil speakers themselves and it harms the people who listen to them.

This program is the work of world peace. We must listen and learn how to become the solution and get it right. The time is now to listen, learn and work for peace. May there be world peace in our time.
