Meet Fred Dawkins, he is an entrepreneur and author. His book, “Everyday Entrepreneur” offers a simple but effective road map anyone can use to take the fear out of following your entrepreneurial dreams. He was born in Guelph Ontario. His hometown is Acton. He is a descendant of an United Empire Loyalists. He’s married to Karin, has 3 children, 6 grandchildren.  He has degree from U of T. with a Masters in Economics.

Fred is a career entrepreneur focused on ideas. He has pursued many opportunities, covering a wide range of areas including manufacturing, land development, consulting, retail and import export. Business has given Fred the opportunity to travel extensively to many countries; making friends in the process while giving him the insight into the emerging global economy. He is known for his retail entrepreneurship and The Olde Hide House.  We all remember “it’s worth the drive to Acton” as a catch phrase!
