The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is an internationally recognized non-profit organization founded upon the powerful belief in kindness. The organization is dedicated to provide resources and tools that encourage acts of kindness.

 

Rusty is the Chief Executive Officer with the Oakville Community Foundation. He understands the importance of Random Acts of Kindness. He's run a small business, did a stint in the world of politics and worked in the Office of the Premier of Ontario. He is an active volunteer with four years on the United Way of Oakville annual Campaign Team, two as its Chair. He also served on the Board of Appleby College and was instrumental in developing a restructuring of the school’s governance. Random Act of Kindness Day® (RAK) is designed to raise community spirit by spontaneously offering a “good turn” for someone, just because it’s a kind and fun thing to do!
