Regina McRae, host of this business show, was owner of Grandma's Secrets, NY's only dessert delivery company. Founded in 1995, at the urging of friends and family, with just $10.00 and 9 pies, no support system, no network, and no real resources, she was able to overcome monumental hurdles to build the business to the success it became, as cake decorator to the stars, and one of NYC's premiere cake artists. In 2009, she was honored to be chosen as Google's Spokesperson for Small Business Success, and was featured in O Magazine, Black Enterprise, Time Out New York, New York Magazine, to name a few, to eventually being a Food Network winner. After retiring from the cake business, she turned her attention to creating wearable head art. From fedoras to fascinators, she seeks to provide customers with unique statement pieces, worn as hats! Launching her 2nd business, she aims to be inspired as well as continue to inspire those who dare to dream of one day starting their own business, and to educate and uplift and encourage those who are already in business. Every month is a different show topic that relates to starting or growing a business. Amazing guests share their insights and experiences, and always leave us inspired. If your Business Matters, join us live every month for inspiration! With over 60,000 listens so far, she aims to inspire even more! Want to be a guest on the show, or have your product promoted?
