Nicholas Snow welcomes Entrepreneur Emily Best of Seed&Spark, a crowdfunding site specific to indie filmmakers, acting like a registry system that shows potential backers a budget determined by exactly what items are needed. The two came up with the idea for the site while working on a film together in 2010 after experiencing the need for additional funding firsthand.  Both Emily and Chief Creative Officer Eve M. Cohen are deeply rooted in the indie filmmaking scene, and passionate about empowering up and coming filmmakers.

At Seed&Spark, filmmakers crowdfund and build their audiences at any stage of a project.  Supporters don't just have to contribute financially - they can also loan or gift the items a filmmaker has listed on their WishList. (Think: Wedding registry for film!)  People don't have to donate to "follow" a particular project. For gathering 500+ followers, filmmakers can unlock distribution to theaters, cable VOD and all digital retail platforms.  Supporters and followers earn incentives from filmmakers and also rewards points called SPARKS which can be redeemed to stream movies.
