Nicholas Snow presents comprehensive coverage of the fourth annual Coachella Valley Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast honoring the birthday of the slain gay civil rights leader, which took place Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Palm Springs Hilton. A sold-out crowd of 400 people were in attendance, including 80 students from area GSA's (Gay Straight Alliances).  A highlight of the event was a very powerful speech by Aiden Stockman of the True Colors GSA, introduced by his equally-inspring mother.

Over the past two decades, he has helped to enact scores of local and state laws, including helping to pass anti-discrimination laws protecting LGBT people and people with HIV/AIDS.

Keynote speaker was Kris Hayashi, Executive Director of the Transgender Law Center, who has been active in social, racial, and economic justice organizing for over 20 years. For the last 10 years Hayashi served as the Executive Director/Co-Director of the Audre Lorde Project, a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two Spirit, Trans and Gender Non-Conforming People of Color organizing center based in New York City.
