This week's guest, Robert Langston is an award-winning advocate for learning-disabled children. He is the president of the Langston Company, Inc., and founder of For the Children Foundation. Since 1996 Rob has been a resource consultant to Vistage an International Organization of over fourteen thousand CEO’s. Vistage is the preeminent organization for the professional and personal development of CEOs; delivering to its Members a unique blend of business resources and peer support to meet the challenge of running and growing a business. Vistage member companies generate close to $300 billion in annual revenue and represent more than 1.1 million employees around the world. Rob shares with Vistage “The Action Initiative Program,” five basic strategies for achieving extraordinary results. Rob has been using The Action Initiative techniques for more than 20 years. He developed the five steps process to overcome a personal battle with Dyslexia. Today he is a graduate of the University of West Georgia despite being functionally illiterate. He is a published author even though he toils to accomplish what many of us do with ease — read and write.
