Lester Velez is the current Vice-President of the Organization for Paranormal Understanding and Support (OPUS), is Chairman of MUFON's Abduction Experiencer Research Committee (AERC) and is the Assistant Director for MUFON in Northern California. He has assisted in psychological studies of experiencers, including the Omega Project. Les joined MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, in 1991 and became a field investigator and later the Training Coordinator for field investigators.
