With the recent court case of Marvin Gaye's estate vs. Robin Thicke, the topic of "others" stealing Black music has risen again.

The history of popular music in America is indeed the history of the taking of Black music, from the early days of Rock to the current days of Hip Hop. Robin Thicke is a glaring example of what can go wrong and Iggy Azalea is an example of everything that is wrong.

Is there a difference between being "inspired" by music that someone else created and outright stealing it? What about sampling in Hip Hop?

We will discuss all of these issues and more, along with our SPECIAL GUEST:  BIG GIP, FROM THE GOODIE MOB!
