Breaking Our Oil Addiction

Today's show will be live from the Ryder Trucking facility in Rancho Dominguez, CA, where Ryder Trucking is holding an open house/Ride-N-Drive event to allow local owners to get behind the wheel of a compressed natural gas (CNG), or liquified natural gas (LNG) truck. Business is embracing natural gas because it can save them up to $3.00 a gallon over diesel and has tremendous emissions benefits.

 

Also today, we will catch up with the final miles of the Green Across America CNG Road Trip. Our CNG Goodwill Ambassadors, Gary & Evelyn Corbitt, have made it across the country and back in a historic adventure. They will arrive at the Ryder Ride-N-Drive event and give us their first hand experiences during the show.
