Representative democracy in the United States is in crisis.  The vast majority of Americans effectively do not have representation in Congress since money has been deemed free speech.  Two SCOTUS decisions have given a green light to the infusion of huge amounts of money into political organizations and candidates:

• McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission (2014)
• Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (2010)

These court decisions amount to an effective coup against the masses of ordinary citizens of the United States in slow-motion style by big-money individuals and corporations that now control our government.   Our talk show will discuss how citizens can regain control of their political future and overthrow the corporate fascists that run our country.
