McDONALD CHIPENZI ON CONSTITUTION DELIVERY/ HON DANNY CHINGIMBU MP KABOMPO EAST

Crossfire bring you FODEP President McDolnald CHIPENZI as we look at , Will Zambians get a "We the people" constitution that has been elusive to them for decades? President Michael Sata's statement recently that the current constitution making process was merely academic dashed all hopes for many citizens who thought the Annel Silungwe CTC would finally deliver after all the assurances that they made. The CTC cannot be faulted, it has shown a principled stand over the printing of just 10 draft copies. Now a coalition of NGOs, Churches, opposition parties and individuals has been formed to fight for a people driven constitution that was promised by the PF, the promise which was underpinned by the appointment of the CTC. Two years down the road, the promise seems to have fizzled into mere rhetoric. CrossFire BlogRadio brings FODEP's MacDonald Chipenzi at 21.00 hours CAT tomorrow to discuss the issue.
