Yore Town

After decades in freelance writing and authoring, newspaper advertising, media consultancy, and management at a newspaper trade association, Sharon Hill has come to the realization, as have many others, that media must engage its audience to survive and to be the most useful information product it can be. With that in mind, and combining with that her love of and understanding of the value of oral history, Sharon is creating Yore Town, a local social platform focused on personal stories and local history. This Yore Town radio show will talk about the value of oral history, and the resources available to showcase oral history and create your own memoirs. It will also provide an opportunity for callers to share their own personal stories or their questions or advice about sharing their personal stories.
