This week I will be interviewing the amazing Annya Stoddart about her Mindfulness Practice and Yoga teaching. Annya is also a Acupuncturist with a vast array of knowledge about therapy and meditation. It will be a joy and honour to interview a lady whose path has been dedicated to helping people for a number of years with their health.

Annya's words:-

"As a teenager I wanted to be a vet like James Herriot (I loved the idea of driving round the countryside with lots of dogs hanging out the window).  Instead I studied Agriculture which in my case included hand milking dairy sheep and processing their milk into cheese and yogurt.

Changed direction to working in the leisure industry which included working at Center Parcs and at the same time as a self-employed Fitness Instructor teaching aerobics, step classes and gym classes. When I realised they were no longer a pleasure, I taught Yoga.

Changed direction again and began working in education, post 16 sector teaching a range of different subjects and managing the apprenticeship programme.  I continued working PT whilst I worked for my degree in acupuncture.

Set up my acupuncture clinic specialising in pain relief 9/10 years ago.

Ran the British Wheel of Yoga in Suffolk for 3 years.  During this time, I organised and attended the initial meditation training with my Meditation teacher up in Suffolk.

Won Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Award for Wisdom Mind, my meditation venture (2016)"
