LatinoTalk Texas 2014, 0004 Loss of American Leadership & Global Destabilzation

LatinoTalk Texas is news, issues and interview of interest to Latinos in America and to those who seek to understand them.  The news is bad today and I found no good news to report.  The world is ON FIRE!!  There is uprisings, wars and genocide breaking out all over the planet.  Radical Islam is fueling terrorism and genocidal wars across the middle East and the loss of American influece there has engendered this.  I conclude that American leadership is absent from the world today and that, I believe, is the main cause for this disorder.  Our allies, like Israel, complain to us for our feckless foreign policies and weakness especially when they are engaged in conflict with Hamas, a terrorist organization.  

Latino issues like the languishing DREAM Act, the immigration crisis as hundreds or thousands of Central American refugee children have arrived in South Texas.  This crisis has caused increased fervror from the white supremacists and thier militias to rush to borders seeking to murder the children.  Very worrisome.  

Obama continues to lie about giving relief to Latinos from his harsh deportation policies.  I read a piece by Ruben Navarette discussing the same crisis in south Texas and the politics of blame between the Republicans and the Democrats with we Latinos losing more and more.
