Roxanne Modafferi as a child loved sports and school. As a young adult, she discovered her love of the Japanese language and culture, at the same time practicing martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, followed by Kempo, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and finally Mixed Martial Arts. She majored in Japanese Language and Literature, with a minor in Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

You have seen Roxanne on The Ultimate Fighter Season 18 where she shocked everyone with her impressive win over Valerie Letourneau, in her elimination fight to get into the TUF house. Now, she holds a professional MMA record of 15 wins 11 losses.

Roxanne also loves to write, and besides daily blogging, has had reports and articles printed in Bodyguard and Full Contact Fighter. Roxanne Modafferi, has recently released her autobiography and it is available now.
