SAFMC March Meeting Public Comments

These are my public comments to the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council for the March meeting in St. Simons Island Georgia at the Sea Palms Resort. I will not be able to attend the meeting to give my three minutes of public comments so I ask the council to listen to this. These comments are also intended for a wider audience of politicians, seafood consumers, fellow fishermen, concerned citizens, and others involved in the seafood industry. Please keep an open heart and mind as you consider these solutions that would limit waste, protect stocks, feed more people, produce more revenue, and allow fishermen to work in safer conditions.
