Next up Sandra Long truck driver and author of “Street Smarts: A Guide for a Truck Driver's Personal Safety” calls in to discuss Womens Safety and how to make security at truck stops, and on the road a top priority. Then we hit the road “hard” with Desiree Wood “aka “Truckerdesiree”, Trucker, Bloger, and advocate for women truckers as she takes us to the “front lines” with real life stories of the difficulties surrounding the over the road lifestyle. Our spotlight segment tonight will feature Rochelle Gorham President and CEO of CalArk and recipient of Navistar Inc. and Women in Trucking's Influential Women of the Year award as she gives us details on the pro's of women as a proven benefit to major transportation fleets recruiting efforts. Rochell will detail her mission to recruit women in all aspects of the industry, from driver, manager, to executive.
