Wayne Turmel (Tur-MEL as in melon) has led what the police refer to as a checkered past. He's been a professional standup comic, a car salesman, a successful business consultant and trainer and now writes fiction to save what's left of his sanity. He's the author of 12 books, mostly around business communication, but his latest historical novel, Acre's Orphans, the award-winning sequel to Acre's Bastard, is available now. His newest book, Johnny Lycan and the Anubis Disk is coming out in November from Black Rose Writing. Wayne is originally from a small town in Canada but lives and writes in Las Vegas.
