What is an inner child, anyway, and why would we need to heal it? Everyone experiences some degree of inner separation and disunity. The more trauma a child endures and the more sensitive the child, the greater the degree of disassociation. Those parts of us that split off and take on roles to help us survive do us a great service as children. As adults, there are many tools that we can use to bring healing and restore that inner unity. This series will explore many of those tools and give great hope and encouragement for wholeness along the way.
In part one, counselor Mike Garner shares with us about the process of inner healing based on his work with hundreds of people in the U.S. and abroad. Mike has a gift for making complex systems very understandable and provides lots of everyday examples to illustrate the journey from fragmentation to integration.
