Beyond Abuse Radio: Empowerment, Part 7- Spiritual Empowerment

We are empowered by opening our hearts to God and choosing to trust the only One who is completely trustworthy.  By becoming aware of what is moving us closer to God or further away from Him, we are able to make choices that lead us to more healing and more life.   Learning spiritual disciplines like different kinds of prayer, silence, contemplation, and expressing our supernatural impressions through art and writing help us to be more cognizant of the blessings we often pass unnoticed.  As we invite God to share all of our feelings and experiences, we can stop running from those things that we fear and walk through the pain in the cradle of  His love.  Then we are able to receive the new inheritance of life, joy, and peace that awaits us in His arms.

Misa is a certified Spiritual Director and has been walking the road of spiritual healing for nearly 40 years. She shares from her own journey, knowing intimately the struggles and the joys of being in relationship with God. She will be covering how a relationship with God can heal us, the issues and challenges that arise in the midst of spiritual healing, and lots of awesome tools and resources to help you on your walk into spiritual wholeness.
